CALLING ALL CROSS-COUNTRY SKIERS AND SNOWSHOERS ---

We've got an outing for YOU.

If you've been dreaming of cross-country skiing or snowshoeing through the woods this season -- then it appears that Mother Nature has delivered.

Olivia Farr, one of our enthusiastic members, has offered to lead a group for some skiing on the BRLA trails in the coming day(s) / week. Our Director, Lindsay Hearon, will lead a snowshoe walk on the trails as well.

At this point we are gauging interest only. Please email us if you are interested! We will follow up with details once we have a sense of participation.

These outings will not be for pure beginners -- general familiarity and experience with cross-country skiing and snowshoeing is a prerequisite. Must have your own equipment.

2025 New Members - Welcome Hike!

Did you become a BRLA member in 2025? If so, we invite you to join us for a guided hike on the trails. Come kick-off daylight savings season + meet your neighbors and other members on a Sunday afternoon.

Director Lindsay Hearon and Board Chair Wendy Belzberg will lead guests on a hike through some of their favorite trails.

We will move at an adult pace - kids welcome at parent's discretion. *VERY* friendly dogs on leashes welcome.

Community Trail Clean-Up Morning
Sunday, April 19

This event marks the unofficial kick-of off our season! Please come out and join your friends and neighbors for some fresh air, light work on the trails and a delicious community lunch!

Gather your friends and neighbors and come out and help us clean and restore the trails after a long blustery winter. 

Volunteers will be divided into teams (levels: easy / medium / hard work) and assigned one of many trail locations around town for a 90-minute clean-up effort -- followed by a group lunch hosted at the BRLA Barn.  Families WELCOME!
